The brief

Instructions for physical care only work if people can follow them at a glance. The client needed illustrations that feel warm and reassuring, while showing every step of the technique accurately.

That meant two reusable characters, a caregiver and an elderly patient, kept completely consistent across every scene, in the same room, from the same perspective.

Character consistency

Same characters, every scene

Facial features, hair, clothing, and colors stay identical as the characters move through each pose. This is what makes a series feel professional, and it's the part that's hardest to get right.

The challenge

Friendly style, correct body mechanics

A cartoon that teaches the wrong posture could lead to injury. We refined the artwork through client feedback until every detail matched proper caregiving technique.
